Wilbur Charles Hantel

Age 91, of Malvern, PA, previously of State College, PA, passed away on June 14, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Wilson); loving father of daughter, Johanna Hantel. Wilbur was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tulane University. He received an additional degree from the Pennsylvania State University and served in the United States Air Force as a meteorologist at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, during the Korean War. He went on to a successful career in the metals industry. Wilbur loved Penn State football. He will be dearly missed. Services will be held at a later date.
