William Simcox

William White Simcox, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at home. He was 91 years old. Bill was a resident of Conshohocken, PA for the past two years. Prior to that he resided in Bridgeport, PA for over 60 years where he raised his family with his loving wife Mary Lou. His wife Mary Louise (Seitz) Simcox preceded him in death in 2016. Bill retired from Stroehman Bread where he was a machine mechanic.

He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and grand dogs. He enjoyed camping, hunting and good camp fire. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all that knew him.

Born in Tioga County, PA on February 7, 1934, Bill was the son of the late Sara Carolyn Simcox (Nye/Gee) and William Nelson Simcox. Surviving is his three loving daughters, Christine V. Whip (Kevin) of Oreland, PA, Susan M. McLaughlin (Ken) of Conshohocken, PA and Tracy L. Smith of Royersford, PA and son William White Simcox, Jr.. His son Michael Allen Simcox preceded him in death in 2022. Bill is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren: He is preceded in death by his sisters Katherine, Pat and Jane and his brothers Russell and Bob.

At Bill’s request, he will have a ceremony for family at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352South Gulf RoadKing of Prussia, PA. 19406
