Vivienne Spector of Melrose Park, formerly of Jenkintown, passed away peacefully on 6/5/23 at the age of 92. She lived a full and happy life with her beloved husband Herbert who she was married to for 66 wonderful years. Their love for each other was evident to everyone who knew them. She is survived by her husband Herbert, daughter Marsha Fitzgerald (Robert), son Fred Spector (Barbara Wong), son Paul Spector( Rena ),and grandchildren Carolyn Knoll (Dan), Joanna Fitzgerald, Carly Kelly(Colin), Erica Stanton( Roberto), David Spector, May Spector, Ben Spector along with 4 great grandsons, Mateo, Vincent, Brady and Louis. Vivienne had her broker's license and worked as a realtor for many years. She was active in the League of Women's Voters for 50 years and served as president of her chapter. She was a member of the Jenkintown Rotary Club and Jenkintown's Shade Tree Commission. She had a creative side which she nurtured at the Clay Studio of Philadelphia and later at the Cheltenham Art Center where she worked with clay to create beautiful and useful pieces that she gave to family and friends. She was a dedicated friend, wife, mother, and grandmother who was a constant source of support and encouragement. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her spirit of adventure, her political activism, her profound wisdom, and her love of the arts.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Vivienne's life at a memorial service on June 30 at 11:00 at the Chestnut Hill Friends Metting located at 20 E Mermaid Lane, Philadelphia PA. 19118
