Tyrone D. McGaw. Sr, "Big Tye", 54 of Coatesville, PA passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2026, at the University of Penn Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Tyrone was born December 5th, 1971 in Media, PA, to Yvonne A. McGaw and Oliver W. McGaw, Jr.

Tyrone was a hardworking man with an incredible sense of humor and known for cracking jokes and bringing laughter to those around.
Throughout his life, Tyrone wore many hats. He played football, basketball and track, was a cook, a DJ, and delivery driver, bringing his own talents, dedication, and passion to everything he did. He was a talented cook who enjoyed preparing food for people he cared about, and as a DJ, he shared his love of music with others.
Above all, Tyrone loved his three children deeply. His family was an important part of his life, and he cherished spending time with his children, family, and friends.
A proud Philadelphia Eagles fan, Tye had a passion for his team.
lyrone will be remembered for his humor, his hardworking spirit, his many talents, and the love he shared with those around him. The memories he created, the laughter he brought, and the love he gave will continue to live on through the people whose lives he touched.
He was friends to many and loved by everyone, even his dog Bear.
He is survived by his two daughters Ayana McGaw, Olivia McGaw, and son Tyrone McGaw Jr.
He was preceded in death by a Mother Yvonne McGaw "Cookie", Father Oliver McGaw, Anna
M. Brown, Siblings Antionette "Toni" Dixon and Darryl Dixon Sr.
