Timothy Scott Bomboy (1951-2026)

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Timothy Scott Bomboy, age 74, of Doylestown, PA, on September 17, 2026, after a brief, yet difficult battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on December 6, 1951, in Chester, PA, he was the son of Wayne Bomboy, Jr. and Christine (Jeffries) Bomboy. He attended Central Bucks High School and later joined the military. He proudly served in the Navy as a chef on the USS L. Y. Spear, which inspired his lifelong passion for cooking.

He began working as an HVAC serviceman and later rose to sales manager in the same field. Beyond his career, he was dedicated to his family and his passions. He loved riding his motorcycle, taking long walks on the beach, and cruising the bay on his pontoon boat in Ocean City, MD. He was especially known for his parrot, Ty, who was often found happily perched on his shoulder.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rhonda (Capaldi) Bomboy; his children, Timothy Bomboy, Jr., Stephanie (Ron) Byrne, Heather (Leon) Hightower, William (Terence) Neis, and Adrienne (Tommie) Washington; along with his nine grandchildren Alex, Valen, Zach, Mea, Ava, Gabe, Alyssa, Tyler, and Kaeden, who brought him his greatest sense of pride in being their “Pops”; brother Rob (Carol) Bomboy; sister-in-law Linda Bomboy, and brothers-in-law Gary Seiz and Charles Krieble. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Judith Seiz, Pamela Sithens, and Melanie (Sue) Krieble; and brothers Dennis Bomboy and Jeffrey (Buddy) Bomboy.

A memorial open house will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00-4:00 PM at a family residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
