Thomas (Tom) Randolph Davis born July 15th, 1937, in West Grove Pennsylvania to Thomas and Viola Davis, passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2022. Tom was predeceased by his father Thomas Davis, and his mother Viola Davis, sister Debbie Daley, brothers Robert Davis, Blair Davis, and Gilbert Davis. Thomas is survived by his wife Lillian Davis, and his son Toyge Davis and his wife Kelly who reside in Media, PA, siblings Larry Davis and his wife Naomi from Cochranville PA, Sally Davis of Wilmington, De and Wanda Davis of Cochranville, PA.
Tom attended the “One Room School” in Lincoln for grades 1-6. After redistricting he went to Homeville for grades 6-8. He then attended Oxford High school before dropping out to join the United States Air Force.
Tom was in the Korean War with the US Air Force 88th Police Squadron (SAC) from 1954-1958. After serving his time and returning to the area Tom worked various jobs from working on a Horse Farm in Newton Square, to Operating heavy equipment at a compost farm in Oxford.
Tom was hired in 1964 at the Chrysler Automotive production plant in Newark, DE. Tom worked there for 30 years as a member of the UAW Local Union 1183 before retiring in 1994. Tom enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Kennett Square Axillary Police. Tom was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
A memorial service and repast will be held on Saturday December 10th
11:00am-1:00pm at the VFW Post 5467 located in Kennett Square, PA.
