Theodore M. "Ted" Manchin, 73, of Delaware County, retired Scott Paper Machinist, died peacefully on August 28th in Glen Riddle, PA where he lived the last couple of years at Truewood in Glen Riddle. Born and raised in Chester, he was the son of the late Olga Garbowsky Manchin & William Manchin, Sr and brother to the late William Manchin, Jr. A 1968 graduate of Chester High School, Ted then started his career with Scott Paper in Chester which also began his lifelong affinity for paper products. Ted enjoyed playing cards with his good friends & co-workers and making trips down to the shore on long weekends. He also made sure everyone knew he was born on a Friday the 13th. Ted is survived by his son Brian E Manchin wife Elizabeth D Manchin and two grandchildren - Samantha R Manchin and Jack D Manchin who all reside in Wilmington, DE.
