Terrence (Terry) Peter Savoy, 82, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on October 6, 2025. He was born In Houlton, Maine, son of the late Donald Savoy and Edna (Whalen) Savoy.

Terry was the beloved husband of 57 years to his wife Karen (Wilt). He is survived by his five children, Kristin Savoy of Yardley, PA and her children Kathryn and Caroline Croteau, Matt (Julia) Savoy of Chesterfield, NJ and their children Charlotte, Myla, Willow and Brooks, Scott (Lisa Grosse) Savoy of Langhorne, PA, Patrick Savoy of Yardley, PA, Megan (Mike) Perna of Chesterfield, NJ, and their children, Piper, Beckett and Mavis. He is survived by his two brothers Donald (Gwen) Savoy and Paul Savoy, both of Houlton, ME, and his nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Terry was a graduate of Houlton High School and served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer before being honorably discharged. Shortly after his discharge, Terry moved to Hollidaysburg, PA, where he met the love of his life Karen (Wilt). They were married on November 4, 1967.  Terry worked for many years in the publishing industry before opening Savoy’s Restaurant and Bar in Hamilton, NJ. He retired in 2008 when the restaurant closed. He was an avid fan of the Purdue Boilermakers where he spent a small fortune educating his children. Terry loved spending time with his family. Although Terry had many titles, his favorite was “Pap-Pap”, and he found true joy in attending his grandkids volleyball, softball, baseball, and soccer games as well as school plays. Terry was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church in Yardley, PA, and was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.

In memory of Terry donations can be made to the Special Olympics or to the charity of your choice.

A memorial mass will be held on October 29, 2025, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA, starting at 11:30. Calling hours will be from 11:00 to 11:30 at the church. Military honors will be rendered at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940, following the mass.
