On Monday, July 3rd, Suzanne Topolewski (nee Morgan) died peacefully in Voorhees, New Jersey, at the age of 71. Born in Jersey City, moved to North Arlington to raise her family then retired to Voorhees, New Jersey. Suzanne is survived by her children Karen Vermeulen (James) and David Topolewski,(Jennifer); grandchildren Olivia Vermeulen, Jakob Vermeulen and Dylan Topolewski; as well as sisters Jean Wysocki (Joseph) and Laurie Morgan.
 
Suzanne was always known for her caring nature. She was a strong yet gentle person who dedicated her life preparing others to reach their dreams. Her career was diverse starting as a Secretary, State Auditor then she went back to school to become a teacher allowing more time to be with her children. She excelled as a 2nd and 3rd grade elementary teacher and had a special fondness for children who experienced life challenges. She returned to school again to become a Special Education Teacher Consultant for her cherished North Arlington School System.
 
She was a creative woman with many talents, including quilting, painting, knitting and sewing. She fulfilled her dream of stitching behind the scenes at New York City’s fashion week. She also loved traveling, reading books, shopping, going for long walks, theater, music, yoga, ice cream, pets, and most of all…spending time with her family. She was a kind-hearted woman who will be sincerely missed by those who were touched by her presence. 
 
A celebration of her life will be held at Christ Episcopal Church located 419 W. Evesham Ave, Magnolia NJ on July 20th.  The family will be accepting visitors at 11AM with a service starting at 12PM. Interment will be immediately following the service at Colestown Cemetery, 100 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Penn FTD Center or The Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration.
