Stephen Delaney

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Edward Delaney 75. Born in New Bedford Massachusetts, currently of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he passed away peacefully on March 28^th 2023

Stephen was a loving husband to Joann. A devoted father to Elizabeth Hoffman (Lawrence) and Mark (predeceased) (Chantal). Son to Robert and Gladys (nee) Jones (predeceased). Brother to Robert (predeceased) (Josie) and Michael (Ellen). Step father to Christopher, Michael (Tina) and Anthony (Crystal). Devoted grandfather to Brittany, Tyler, Jake, Derek, Amber, Janessa and Zahira. Great-grandfather to Milan. Loving Uncle to Raina and Lauren.

Stephen was a Vietnam veteran with the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked for the United States Postal Service for almost 20 years until his retirement in 2005. Stephen loved to travel and return to Boston as often as possible. He was proud of his Irish heritage and loved all things Celtic.

10:45am to 11:30am

Wednesday April 5th 2023.  Stephen will be buried with full military honors at Washington's Crossing National Cemetery.
