Shannon Marie Thompson

Shannon was born on August 21, 1985 at Crozier-Chester Hospital in Upland, Pennsylvania to Lori Reilly James and Marshall Thompson.

Shannon passed away on August 12, 2022 at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Shannon grew up in Huntingdon Valley, PA.  She attended schools in the Upper Moreland School District and also attended school in Coatesville, PA.

Shannon lived in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania; Parkesburg, Pennsylvania and later in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  

Shannon enjoyed playing at the park with her children, trips to the shore, camping trips, Disney World when she was 14.   Shannon played soccer for Upper Moreland Township for 5 years and loved it! 

Shannon is survived by her mother, Lori Reilly James of Ponte Vedra Beach, (FL) and her father, Marshall Thompson (Deborah) of Keytesville, MO.  

Shannon leaves behind her three beautiful children, Mario, Kassidy and Carlee.  She is survived by her sisters Samantha and Alexandra (Norfolk, VA), her brother Dale (Manassas, VA), her uncle Lynne Thompson (Havertown, PA), her Aunt and Godmother Diana Kensinger (Jerry) of Ft. Myers, FL, her aunt Kate Halligan (Jimmy) of Media, PA and her uncle Michael Reilly (Ericka) of Chandler, AZ.  She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Judy Quatrini (John) of Hatboro, PA and Anita Reilly (John) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Her cousins Amanda and Robert Newett who were a big part of her life, as well as cousins Alexis, Anna, Julie and Amy and many other family members. 

Shannon was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather John Reilly (Anita), her paternal grandmother Fern Thompson, her paternal grandfather Alexander Thompson, her aunt Terri Thompson Barr, and her cousin Ryan Newett.

Shannon had a very big heart and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Services for Shannon will be held at a later date both in Pennsylvania and Missouri.
