Sean Michael Townsend, age 63, a life time resident of Hyattsville, MD Passed away January 22, 2024 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mary Bleibtrey Townsend, a nephew Scott Wascavage, nieces Susan Townsend and Allison Evans and sister in law Jane Townsend.

Survived by sisters Sharon Evans, Mary ( Mark ) Wascavage, brothers Robert and Kevin Townsend, 7 nephews and nieces, 21 great nephews and nieces and 2 great great nephews.

Attended DeMatha Catholic High School. Graduate of University of MD and Strayer University, MBA.

Started career in the labs of Holy Cross Hospital and was mostly recently employed by University of Maryland Medical Services as an analyst.

Sean travelled extensively and had visited Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Private internment at Gate of Heaven.
