Samuel L. Kushner

Samuel L. Kushner of Jenkintown was called home on January 14, 2025, at the age of 82. 

Born in Philadelphia, Sam was the son of the late Edward and Rose (nee Cohen) Kushner and brother to the late Roberta Rosenblum-Glatzer, Elaine Alper and Louis Kushner. 

He was a devoted and loving husband of Margaret L. (nee Gillen) Kushner for 57 years. 

In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his children, Christine Kushner-Oruska, Patricia Olimpo (Robert), and Nadine Reis (William). He was also a devoted Pop-Pop to Sean, Ryan, Chelsea, Devin, Skylar and a Great Grand Pop to Riley Marie. Sam had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of extended family that he cherished deeply. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to gather to celebrate Sam’s life on Saturday February 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ivy Hill Cemetery’s Chapel located at 1201 Easton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19150
