Rose Marie Klemick

Rose Marie Klemick, age 69, wife of Frederick and loving mother of three, passed away in the late evening of April 10, Palm Sunday, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

 

Rose Marie was born on October 9, 1952 to Dominic and Marie Catherine LaPera, in Philadelphia, PA.  After graduating from high school, Rose Marie went on to study Elementary Education at St. Joseph's University.  Following her education, Rose Marie taught in the classroom for many years, sharing her passion for Shakespearean literature with sixth grade students.

 

Rose Marie and Frederick shared over 40 years of marriage together and they raised a loving family.  Rose Marie was a dedicated mother first and foremost.  She treasured every moment with her three children.  A day never went by where she didn't remind them of her love and pride of them.  Rose Marie especially loved the role of Nana.  Madison, Elizabeth, and Charlotte, gave her the strength she needed to fight.  The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Rose Marie - Reading a book by the pool with her family, enjoying banana splits on a hot summer day, and crafting with the grandchildren brought her pure happiness.  

 

Rose Marie is survived by her husband Fred, three daughters Nicole (Patrick) Lunger, Valerie (Jason) Weiss, Lauren, and three grandchildren, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.  The family requests those who wish to express sympathy consider making a memorial donation to Main Line Hospice.
