Ronald Charles Goebel

Ronald Charles Goebel went home to be with his Savior & Lord on March 2, 2023. Ron was born on May 17, 1936 in Springfield, PA. He was the son of Charles H. and Edith L. Goebel; brother to Jean Hesse & Jack Goebel.

Ron is survived by his wife June, the love of his life! They started dating at the age of 14 and were married for 66 years. A beautiful example of what true love and commitment looks like. He is also survived by his three children; Cheryl Pino(Dominic), Bruce Goebel(Liz) and Karen Kynett(Ken). His pride and joy were his eight grandchildren; Nicholas, Christopher (Cait), Anthony(Kelly), Lauren(Jake), Blake(Lauren), Brian, Kerry(Cheri) & Kyle(Jess). His great grandchildren, James, Nora & Caroline were a true blessing to him!

He was the owner of Goebelwood Industries, a family business started in 1952. Working in the millwork industry allowed Ron to use his God given talents and demonstrate the benefits of hard work for generations to come.

Ron’s committed faith to God and his family were evident. Always ready to serve. He attended Bethlehem Methodist Church in Thornton, PA.

His passions were boating, fishing and navigating the open waters.

His quiet presence, unending knowledge & smile will be forever missed.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be sent to Samaritan's Purse or St. Judes Hospital.

To Celebrate Ron’s Life, there will be visitation on Monday, March 13th, 10am-11am. Service from 11am -12pm at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 4 Westtown Rd., Thornton, PA. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family for a luncheon.
