Robin Haines

September 8, 1956 — February 4, 2026

Philadelphia, PA

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Haines (Rynkiewicz); his daughter, Victoria Haines, and her partner, Jeff Weber; and his cherished granddog, Roxy. He is also survived by his brother, David Haines, and David’s wife, Becky Haines, as well as his sister, Amy Marchewka.

A lifelong diesel mechanic, he took immense pride in his work and in the automotive shop he built from the ground up, Haines Automotive. The shop was more than a business to him. It reflected his dedication, craftsmanship, and work ethic, and it stood as a testament to a lifetime of skill and perseverance.

He had a deep appreciation for old things and was always on the hunt for unique treasures. He carried himself with confidence and character. He loved dancing, fishing, his honda ruckus, jazz music, good food, road trips to disney and cooking alongside his daughter, moments that became treasured memories. His admiration for Mack Trucks and his passion for fixing just about anything spoke to both his professional expertise and his natural curiosity.

Family was at the center of his life. He held Cape May close to his heart, especially Cape May Point and the time he spent there with his wife and grandparents.

He was smart, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and never shy about barking orders, often with a grin that made it clear he cared deeply. He will be remembered for his strength, his stories, his humor, and the love he showed through his actions.

His legacy lives on through his family, the work of his hands, and the many lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held on February 12, 2026 at St. John Cantius Parish in Bridesburg, Philadelphia. Viewing will take place at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM.
