Robert “Bob” Shaner 81, passed away on June 8,2022. Robert was born to William (McBride) Shaner and Marion (Steele) Shaner on March 30, 1941. Robert grew up in Wynewood, PA where he graduated from Lower Merion High School. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania. Robert served in Vietnam for 2 years and was a Commander of American Legion Post 668 in Wayne, Pa. After Commanding, he remained a member for many years following.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dorothy (Dunton) Shaner, his daughter Marion (John) Dressel, sister Betsy Tomlinson, Grand-Daughters Meghan & Kylie Dressel along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held graveside at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken located at 199 Matsonford Road Conshohocken, PA 19428. Services will be on June 17, 2022, at 11:45 am. Celebration of Life to follow at American Legion Post 668 located at 401 East Lancaster Ave Wayne, PA 19087.
