October 20, 1937 - June 3, 2025
Spring City, PA
Robert F. Mansure, age 87, of Spring City, PA died peacefully on June 3, 2025 at Southeastern Veterans Center. Bob as his friends and family called him is survived by his son Robert H. Mansure and daughter-in-law Lisa. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Mansure, his parents Violet and Howard Mansure and siblings Joyce Flynn and Jack Mansure.
Bob loved life and helping others! In his early years he joined the Navy and served his country until he was honorably discharged. He was an active member of the Mummers in the Philadelphia area for decades alongside his dad and son Bobby. Most recently Bob was a member of the Gloucester City String Band in New Jersey where he entertained playing his banjo.
After several decades working with Stouffer's, Bob found a new passion for helping people by driving for local limousine services and even driving school-aged children to and from school in the neighboring area. Speaking of being on the road, Bob loved to travel whether it was for a musical opportunity or to take his family to Disney! He also loved trains, cream chipped beef, Army Navy football games with his son, and gathering with family for birthdays and holiday celebrations.
At a later date the family will meet to celebrate Bob’s life and to inter his cremains. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations or gifts can be made to the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association Mummers, the Department of Military Veterans Affair Southeastern Veterans' Center or U.S. Naval Academy Navy Football.
