Richard J. Hartley, Sr.

Richard J Hartley, Sr., age 82 of Philadelphia, has passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. 

He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for 42 years. He proudly served his country in Vietnam as part of the 169th Engineer Battalion of the United States Army. Richard enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

 He is survived by his wife Diane (nee Kijak) of 58 years, children, Michelle (Frank), Richard (Manuela) and Tracey Anne, grandchildren, Dane Ficiak (Chelsea), Nicholas Hartley, Abigail Hartley and Osbert Copello, great grandchildren, Madelynn Ficiak and Aedan Ficiak.

Services and interment are private.
