Philip Withers

Philip Jason Withers, 56, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 6 in Ridley Park, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Robert and Lydia Withers.

 Philip is survived by his daughter, Aubri Withers of Maysville NC, his devoted, caring partner, Alison Peckerman, and his brothers, Clifford, Joshua (Don), and Daniel (Tanya). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

 Philip graduated from Ridley High School and worked at Dove Run Wine & Spirits, where he was affectionately known as “The Sheriff.” He dedicated many years working at Rolling Green Golf Club and DuPont Country Club. He was an avid golfer and had a heart of gold. Phil's friends and family will always remember his infectious smile and ability to make everyone feel welcome. He loved spending weekends on the golf course, where he often shared his wisdom and humor with his golfing buddies.

 A Celebration of Philip’s life will be held at Rolling Green Golf Club 280 N. State Road Springfield, PA 19064 on Sunday, January 26 from 12 to 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Philip J. Withers to The Fund for the Abramson Cancer Center.
