Michael D Kohn 72, of Woodlyn PA passed away peacefully on January 5th at his home.

Mike was born in Philadelphia on May 3rd, 1953 to his father Emanuel Kohn and his mother Marcella Wells.

He attended Our Lady of Peace grade school, and graduated from St, James High School. He then enlisted in the US Army as a medic in 1971 and was awarded an honorable discharge and the National Defense Service Metal in 1975.

He was employed as an RN and continued his medical education in several Philadelphia hospitals/schools in varies positions such as: an echo-cardiologist, the ER, Psychiatric Unit and ICU step-down.

He moved to MN for several years and was employed by the Mayo Clinic. Mike returned to PA and settled with his wife Barbara in Woodlyn.

Mike finally took employment at Crozer Hospital in the physiologic area.

Mike enjoyed listening to many music artists of the 50s and 60s. He also was very fond of his “best friends” his cats.

Preceded in death by his wife Barbara Kohn.

Mike is survived by his siblings:

Robert Kohn of Port Richey, FL, Michelle Welsh of Downingtown, PA and

Jerald Kohn of Vancouver, WA.

His nephew Andrew Welsh, his niece Charlotte Farber and his great nephews: Daniel Locks, John Nolan and Maxwell Farber.
