Marcia Texidor

 Marcia Ann Lawson was the first born child of Jefferson B. and Joette E. (Cauley) Lawson.  She was born January 20,1959 in Rock Island, Illinois and grew up in rural Mercer County, Illinois. She passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey on November 27, 2023. 

Marcia attended Winola High School, Bradley University and Blackhawk College in Illinois. After moving to New Jersey she worked for many years as a nurse in the New Jersey Department of Corrections.  She married Michael Texidor on November 24,1990 in Burlington, NJ. They were the parents of Joshua and Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sibling and her husband Michael. Marcia loved fiercely, kindly and generously. Her loyalty knew no bounds. She possessed the bravery of her father and the sweetness of her mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Joshua and Jordan and a stepdaughter Lisa all of New Jersey. Her brothers and their wives Jeff & Sheri, Bruce & Patti of Illinois. Several nieces, nephews and dozens of cousins. Her clan was huge and she cherished you all.

Cremation has been accorded. Services will be held at a later date after Marcia is brought home to Illinois. Until then please continue to celebrate your own memories of Marcia.
