It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcia Ann Trimble Lasher, who left us peacefully at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Leroy George Lasher, with whom she shared 50 beautiful years of love and companionship before his passing.
Born and raised in the community as one of eight children to the loving late Helen and George Trimble, Marcia graduated from Dallas High School and lived a life filled with joy and positivity. She was a devoted mother to the late Leroy Lasher Jr. and is survived by her son, Gregory Lasher.
Marcia was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She retired from Clover, where her warm personality and work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A woman of many talents, she had a passion for music, often singing while her husband played guitar, filling their lives with melodies, smiles, memories and laughter.
Marcia’s remarkable ability to see the bright side of life touched everyone around her. Her grandchildren will forever cherish the memories of their grandmother cheering them on during their childhood years and their memories at Shawnee made together. She will also be remembered foundly by her many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were all recipients of her warmth and affection.
Marcia will be laid to rest at Orcutt Cemetery in Noxen, PA, alongside the love of her life. She will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding light of love, laughter, and positivity.
Rest in peace, sweet angel. Your legacy of love will live on in all of us.
