Lewis Nestle

Lewis Stanley Nestle, age 78, passed away surrounded by family on June 14, 2023, in Havertown, Pa. He was born on January 27, 1945, in New York City. Lewis was a devoted and loving husband, father, papa, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Susan Cook Nestle; his daughters, Jennifer Nestle (spouse, Jeffrey Powers), and Tamara Nestle; his son, Daniel Nestle (spouse, Melissa Bush); and his sister, Ellen McGregor. He was a cherished grandfather, "papa", to his grandchildren, Zackary Powers, Charlie Nestle, Eli Powers, and Max Nestle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anne and Harry Nestle. Lewis served in the Army from 1968 to 1970, including service in the Vietnam War. He graduated Albany Law School and was an attorney for the State of New York for over 35 years. Lewis enjoyed golf, baseball, bridge, chess, and spending time with his family. Lewis will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
