Lewis Muchnick

Lewis Muchnick, 88 of West Chester, PA died on January 2, 2023 at Bryn Mawr Extended Care in Delaware County PA.

He was the son of the late David and Tybe Muchnick.   He was the brother of the late Jerome Muchnick.  

Lewis grew up in Wynnefield PA.  

Lewis graduated from Overbrook High School.  

Lewis married his high school love Ruthann in the 1950’s.  

He joined the Marines in September 1953 to February 1959.  

Lewis and Ruthanne had two children 

Michael and Marjorie 

Lewis later married Tammy, a woman who loved his many dogs. 

Lewis loved and bred Rottweiler dogs 

Wherever you looked in Lewis’s house, there was a picture of his Rottweiler dogs winning a competition.

Lewis was known for his unbridled personality and character.

Lewis Muchnick was known for his lifelong friendships, some which dated back to elementary school
