Kathleen Marie Rogus, 70, of Voorhees, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 13, 1955, in Kensington, Pennsylvania, Kathy was the daughter of the late Michael and Genevieve Cohill. As the oldest of seven siblings, she was caring, responsible, and truly the epitome of a devoted big sister. She graduated from J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1973.
She married John Rogus in 1976, and together they raised their son, Ryan, in Parkwood, Pennsylvania, and later in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
Kathy earned an associate’s degree in medical billing and coding. Before retiring, she worked at Neurological Regional Associates and Virtua Voorhees. Her most important role in life, however, was being a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend.
Kathy enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and reading. She loved spending time at the beach in Wildwood, taking trips to Florida, visiting Lancaster in the fall, and gathering with her large Irish family.
Her three grandsons were the “sunshine to her soul,” and she cherished every moment spent with Dylan, Vasili, and Evan, especially cheering them on at their soccer games.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, John Rogus; her beloved son, Ryan, and daughter-in-law, Chrissy; and her grandsons, Dylan, Vasili, and Evan. She is also survived by her siblings, Theresa Presner (James), James Cohill (Maureen), Susan Rubini, William Cohill (Anne), and Christine Vecchione, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, who all held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Genevieve Cohill and her brother, Michael Cohill.
Kathy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
