Joseph V Meyers

Joseph “Joe” Meyers, 74, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully after a long and hard battle with cancer.
Loving father of Jessica (Randy) and Joseph. Beloved brother of Vincent (Jackie), Thomas, Kathleen (Ron), Michael (Terry), Dennis (Ann) and the late Lee and John. Also survived by his ex wife, Gina, many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his mother Frances and his father Joseph.
Everyone who knew Joe could tell you how much he loved his daughter and son. He will be missed greatly by his children and his cat, Lord. He loved all Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He was also a huge fan of his CB radio and loved all his friends on there dearly. He was always quick to make you laugh or discuss politics. He was never afraid to be himself. He said what he meant and meant what he said. He loved sitting outside with friends on his front step, fishing, crabbing, movies, Doo Wop music, listening to his police scanner and thrifting. He was also a huge supporter of his son in law’s band, Minor Setback. He loved laughing and being a “jokester”.
Services will be private.
