Jose Peralta

Jose Antonio Peralta Balcacer of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 6th, 2022 at age 65. He was born on January 17th, 1957 and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic until the age of 11. He has been a resident of the United States since 1968 and of Philadelphia for the past 4 years.

Jose, the proud business owner of Jochy’s Handy Hands, was multi-talented in home design, construction and woodworking. He was a loving father, son and brother who enjoyed being creative, listening to music and dancing.

Jose will be greatly missed by his three sons, Joshua, Justin and Jesse; his mother, Carmen; and his siblings, Josephine, Carmen Luisa, Frances, Fernando Jose, Isabel and Robert. He will also be fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose F. Peralta and his sister, Petruska Marquez.  
A private gathering will be held for family and close friends on November 5th, 2022.
