John A. “Jack” Gallagher Jr. passed away on December 5 at his home in Pennsylvania after a long illness. He was 79 years old. Jack is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter Megan, son-in-law Ray and grandsons Holden and Reid. He is also survived by his sister, Andrea Bowden (Edward) and brother William. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Alma Gallagher. The Kozicki family also mourns his loss and celebrates his memory. Jack was a veteran of the US Army, and carried a passion for military history throughout his life. He shared his love of fishing with his daughter, grandsons, nieces, and nephews, along with a deep well of knowledge and enjoyment of baseball. Jack’s family would like to thank the care team at Compassus Home Health for their help and guidance through this challenging journey, as well as the circle of support from family and friends that surrounded his last months. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held privately, and in lieu of flowers, his family would request donations be made to the Red Cross.
