Jennifer Buch, 57, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. In lieu of a service, this obituary welcomes those who knew Jennifer to leave notes and photographs in memoriam of her life.Born in Queens, New York, Jennifer embodied the dedicated, fearless spirit of a native New Yorker. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History from Hunter College in Manhattan and went on to form long-lasting bonds with many, leaving an undeniable impression on everyone she met. She worked tirelessly for many years in the healthcare system before becoming an empowered entrepreneur, dedicating her life to helping others feel at peace in their homes through Spruce Organizing, while also nurturing the growth of fellow home organizers by founding her nonprofit, The American Society of Professional Organizers.She adored her two children and devoted herself fully to their happiness by any means necessary — whether that meant early-morning and late-night drives to and from the Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale building, sitting in the very front row of every musical theater production, or supporting them even when things did not always go according to plan. Jennifer was always searching for more in life, often traveling halfway across the globe to visit friends and family she had made along the way in Portugal, Italy, Japan, and beyond. Her ability to make those around her feel loved and special was a rare and beautiful gift.Jennifer is survived by her son and daughter, James and Nara, as well as the many friends and family she made throughout the many lives she lived. Though her time was limited, she filled it with enough adventures and memories to last a century.
