Jean Shaffer. Born February 10th 1933 passed away peacefully at home on March 27th 2024. Jean was an avid reader with a strong thirst for knowledge. She kept up with the times by teaching herself how to use technology and enjoyed learning new things. She overcame early childhood struggles and became a strong and independent woman. She was widowed at a young age and went on to raise 5 children on her own. She is preceded by her Husband Howard Eugene Shaffer and children Patty Carol, Jean Shaffer , and Cheryl Shaffer. She is survived by a daughter Debby Bell and a son Wayne Shaffer as well as several Grandchildren and great grand children, nieces and nephews who meant so much to her. She had a special relationship with her niece Annie Siti and her best friend Hank O'Brian. She had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. She loved to sing the songs of her childhood. She will always be a song in our hearts.
