In Loving Memory of

Jazmin Lissette Acosta

June 20, 1966 – June 25, 2026

With profound sadness, yet with hearts full of gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Jazmin Lissette Acosta, who entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on June 20, 1966, in Puerto Rico, 1 of 11 children Jazmin lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. She believed that one of life’s greatest purposes was to care for others. She loved to work, found joy in helping those around her, and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. Even during her own hardships, she carried the burdens of others before her own. Her heart was generous, her spirit was selfless, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.

Above all else, Jazmin loved God. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and the words she lived by were simple, yet powerful:

“Put God first.”

She believed that with God, all things were possible, and she shared that message with everyone she loved. Her faith gave her strength, guided her through life’s greatest challenges, and became the legacy she leaves behind.

Nothing in this world brought Jazmin greater joy than her family. She was the proud and devoted mother of Jazmin, Josephine, Junior, Karimah, and Walter; a loving and cherished grandmother to 12 grandchildren; and a proud great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the greatest blessings of her life. She loved them fiercely, prayed for them faithfully, celebrated every accomplishment, and never missed an opportunity to remind them how proud she was. No matter what paths they chose or obstacles they faced, she never stopped believing in them. She made every member of her family feel loved, accepted, and treasured.

In what would become one of her final acts of love, Jazmin traveled more than a thousand miles simply to spend precious time with her daughters. She may not have known exactly how much time she had left, but she knew where she wanted to be—with the people she loved most. Those final days together became a gift that will be cherished forever.

Jazmin also leaves behind her beloved mother, Agramilda; her seven loving siblings: Michael, Lercy, Hilda, Charlie, Benjamin, Irving, and Crystal; her five children; her 12 grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; her extended family; and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by her kindness, generosity, and compassionate heart.

To know Jazmin was to know someone who loved deeply. She welcomed people without judgment, gave without expecting anything in return, and found happiness in seeing others smile. She taught us that kindness costs nothing, forgiveness is a gift, and love is life’s greatest blessing.

For a lifetime, Jazmin devoted herself to caring for everyone around her. She comforted the hurting, stood beside those in need, and poured every ounce of her love into her family. In the final days of her journey, that same love came full circle. The daughter she had spent a lifetime nurturing was blessed with the opportunity to stand beside her, care for her, and surround her with the same unwavering love that Jazmin had so freely given throughout her life. It was a final gift between a mother and her child—a bond that neither time nor death can ever break.

The measure of Jazmin’s life was not in the years she lived, but in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, her faith, and her unconditional love.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of the Savior she faithfully served.

Jazmin leaves behind more than cherished memories. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Her life reminds us to love more freely, forgive more quickly, help whenever we can, and above all else…

Put God first.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Matthew 25:23
