Emmitt Grimes

Emmitt C. Grimes, 76,  passed away on April 23, 2023 after a short battle with gastric cancer.

 

Emmitt was born on July 29, 1946 to Mary and father Emmitt of Stubenville, OH along with 5 siblings. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and later became a successful self-employed contractor in Perth Amboy, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Linda (maiden name Stepash), Karen Grimes and husband George Zereconski, daughter Kathleen O'Prandy and grandchildren, Paige O'Prandy, Jayden Grimes, Brooke O'Prandy and Jake Zereconski.

 

Emmitt was predeceased by both parents, his sisters Kathy and Mildred, and brothers Keith and David. He leaves behind his eldest sister Mary Ann Rodenburg as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
