Edward Landis

Edward Gary Landis, 80, of Boothwyn PA passed away peacefully on May 7, 2024. Edward was born to Elwood Harold Landis and Florence Clark Landis on October 31, 1943.

He is a graduate of Manheim Township School District. He was an avid baseball player in High School. After High School, Edward Joined the United States Navy. He was an Electronics Technician aboard the USS Holland (AS-32) Submarine Tender. He was honorably discharged in 1965.

Edward had a nearly 40-year career in the Electronics Business. He worked for IBM for 30 years fixing typewriters. He then worked fixing typewriters, fax machines, copiers, and ATM’s until he fully retired in 2004.

Edward is survived by his 2 Sons, James Landis, Mark (Jennifer) Landis as well as 2 grandchildren, and his sister Judith (Bruce) MacBride.

In Lieu of a service, Edward asked that family and friends go play a round of golf or have a nice dinner in his memory. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local SPCA in honor of his beloved Samanthas (Samantha I and Samantha II).
