Deborah Scott

Our beloved Deborah J. Bowen Scott, was born in Philadelphia Pa., on June 2, 1957. Her spirit departed from us on June 20, 2024 at the age of 67. She was the youngest daughter of William and Ruby. 

Debbie, as she was affectionately called, was a beacon of unwavering kindness, friendship, and warmth. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She walked through life with a strong spirit, embracing the lives of everyone she encountered. She was full of love, resilience, wisdom, laughter, and generosity. 

Debbie will forever be in our hearts.Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be a treasure to us all. 

Debbie always marched to the beat of her own drum, living her life on her own terms. She was known for her charm and generosity, often giving her last to someone she thought was in need. She valued family and friends and could always be counted on to drop a funny quip or humorous anecdote. She truly lived by the mantra “Live, Love, Laugh”. 

She was predeceased in death by her parents, William and Ruby, and her brother William Jr. 

She leaves to celebrate her life, her loving husband, Kevin. Her devoted son and daughter-in-law Donald and Laurian, daughters Shekita and Shakira, sisters Cheryl and Rev. Barbara, brother-in-law Cyrus, granddaughters Ruby Bowen and Khah'la, mother-in-law Tondalaya and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
