David Seeger Smallwood

Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carol (nee Andrews), two loving children, David A. Smallwood and Elizabeth Smallwood, and three adoring grandchildren, Katie, Luke, and Zoli. He will also be greatly missed by his brother John Smallwood and sister Ruth Cella.

Mr. Smallwood was a professional chemical engineer having attended Drexel and Lehigh Universities. He worked at ARCO Chemical, Roy F. Weston, and founded his own consulting firm DSS Associates as well as being Quality Control Manager at the US Mint.

When he retired Dave was an active volunteer at literacy programs, Meals on Wheels, and served on the Board of Media Methodist Church. He loved his family, sports, history and fishing and was known as a ‘really nice guy, always ready to lend a hand to help others.’ He truly touched the lives of all who knew him.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
