Daniel Mills

Daniel Abell Mills (Dan, a.k.a. Jae Sik Youn), age 58, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 2nd. Born in Inchon, South Korea, Daniel was adopted by his surviving parents Peter K. Mills of Florida and Carolyn Baker Mills of Maryland in the Orphans’ Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas, County of Delaware in November 1970. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1973 at the age of five.

Dan is also survived by Peter’s wife Pamela Mills, Carolyn’s husband, John Snyder, brother Peter Kendrick Mills (Ken), Ken’s wife, Diane Mills, sister Kathleen Mills, and many nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by sister Julia A. Mills.

Dan was a graduate of West Chester Henderson High School, Class of 1986. He was a member of the wrestling and lacrosse teams. Dan worked in the construction industry for 40 years. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He was a quiet soul who was loved by all who knew him.

A private celebration of life will be held for close family and friends.
