Cosimo N. Rizzo

Cosimo N. Rizzo, aged 79, passed away on May 17^th, 2024 in Downingtown, PA. Born in Brognaturo, Calabria, Italy, Cosimo led a life marked by service, dedication, and love.

A proud veteran, Cosimo served his country honorably in the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he pursued a successful career as a computer programmer in the banking industry, where his contributions were highly valued. Most recently Cosimo was the owner and operator of a successful UPS Store and enjoyed the many connections he made with the local community.

Cosimo was a devoted father to his children, Jennifer and Michael. He was blessed with six grandchildren: Nina, Ryan, Caleb, Chloe, Levi, and Ezra. He is also survived by his sisters, Immacolata and Marianna.

He was the beloved son of the late Michele and the late Teresa (nee Mangiardi) Rizzo and younger brother of the late Salvatore.

In his final days, Cosimo was cared for by his first love, Geraldine Rizzo, whose compassion and dedication were a source of great comfort to him.

A private memorial service and luncheon will be held to honor Cosimo's memory. The family requests privacy during this time of mourning.

Cosimo will be remembered for his bravery, his professional achievements, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
