April 1, 2007-February 24, 2024

Carson Grace Ruth Prey-Harbaugh died of complications from the flu and pneumonia at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on February 24, 2024. Carson was born to parents Julie and Darin Prey-Harbaugh on April 1, 2007.

Carson was known to all as a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful person who was always looking out for the needs of others even as she lived her life in her own unique way. Carson was devoted to her friends and family and will be remembered for her quick smile, engaging personality, and playful sense of humor. Always seen with a sketchbook in hand and a stylish look, Carson was a passionate creator of art and poetry with a love of music and fashion. Carson was a beloved member of the Strath Haven High School community, where she showed up with warmth and depth in her relationships with peers, faculty and staff alike. Carson was a bright and beautiful young person, and she will be deeply missed.

Carson is survived by her loving parents Julie Prey and Darin Harbaugh; their partners Jennifer Santisi (Julie) and Jessie (née Shipley) Harbaugh (Darin); her brother Sylvan Prey-Harbaugh, and her other siblings Michaela, Dylan and Hayden Santisi; her grandparents Mollie (née Fox) Prey, Diana (née Brant) Harbaugh, and Frank and Nancy (née Stewart) Santisi; her aunts and uncles Audie and Kathleen (née Dzurenko) Prey, Drena (née Harbaugh) and Joel Brubaker and cousins Shanae, Faye, and Imani Brubaker. She is predeceased by grandfathers Dean Prey and Donald Harbaugh.
