Bernard "Bernie" Maher

Bernie sadly passed away Sunday Oct. 4, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones.

Bernie lived a life full of challenges which made his journey not an easy one.

There were many chapters in his life that brought many struggles and pain.

He endured it all. He often pushed himself aside to help those he loved when they

needed him. Bernie might have had a hard exterior but those who knew him will remember

that beneath it all he was a good, kind, and caring person. A person who tried his best, a person

who showed compassion and generosity even when life was not always generous to him.

And let's not forget he was an avid Eagles fan, and he was a big Trekkie.

Bernie was predeceased by his parents Bernard J. Maher and Babbetta M. (Lewis) Aiello
