On July 26, 2024 Anna Orth (a.k.a Anna B., Mom, Gram, Gi-Gi and Wawa Anna) passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, friend, neighbor and co-worker. She is survived by her daughter Holly (Tony), grandchildren Jason (Joanna), Peter (Emily), Christopher (Courtney), Sarah (Chris) and great-grandson Marcellus. A self-described “tough old broad” (she wasn’t lying), who spent 35 years as a Probation Officer for the city of Philadelphia, a city that she loved; a city full of people that if she met only once at a restaurant or on the bus loved her too. Though she left us with a hole is our hearts, she left us better people because we were with her on her wild ride.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday morning, August 10th, 10A.M. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, (lower church) 11th and Jackson Streets.
Funeral Mass will begin at 11A.M.
Please join her family as we celebrate Anna’s colorful life by wearing something bright to match her spirit.
