Nancy J. Masiello

Nancy Jean (Figlar) Masiello passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022, nine days after her 91st birthday. Born on January 27, 1931, in Bridgeport CT, Nancy was the daughter to the late Stephen C. and Jean Arnott Figlar, and sister to Audrey.

Nancy graduated from Bassick High School, Class of 1948. A long-time resident of Westport, CT, she was the wife of James E. Masiello, owner of the Masiello Bus Company in Westport. He preceded her in death in 1988.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Masiello.
Nancy was a thoughtful friend, both generous and kind. She had a deep sense of spirituality and love of God. She enjoyed the beach and all sports, especially golf. Her putting won her many tournaments at The Patterson Club.  She loved to dance, had a great smile and a sharp wit. She loved cooking and entertaining, the New York Giants, and word games of every sort.
In 2018, Nancy moved to Pennsylvania to be close to her daughter. She is survived by her children, Marnie Masiello of Chesterbrook, PA and James Masiello of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren, Michele, Alexandra, and James Masiello; and several nieces and nephews.  Nancy will be dearly missed. 
A mass of Celebration will be held in the summer at St. Luke Church in Westport, CT.
