John Rexford Gentry

 John R. Gentry IV "J.R." (43) passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 with his loving sisters by his side.

J.R. was born on September 5, 1978 in Wilmington, Delaware. He is survived by his mother Larona Walls (Bill), his father John R. Gentry III, his sisters Lorri Smith (Freddie) and Terri Gentry, his nieces and nephews Amber, Carrie, Felicia, Little Freddie, Breanna, V.J. and Alon, also 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. J.R. is also survived by his maternal grandmother, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him very much.
J.R. worked many years as a tattoo artist/piercer. He was an exceptional guitar player enjoying playing in bands with family and friends. He was our very own Rockstar. J.R. had a big heart and an even bigger smile that lit up every room he walked in. J.R. loved spending time with his loved ones and was affectionately known as "Uncle Jar" to his nieces and nephews who adored him.

J.R.'s aura shined so bright, he left his mark on so many of us with his love, memories and tattoos. He will be forever in our hearts.
A memorial service has been scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2022 Time: 12p-2p for family/close friends(invite only) 2p-4p open to any and all to come celebrate his life. Location:Atterbury VFW Post
