Keith Alan Dietel, 57, of Exton (PA) passed away on November 30, 2021 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), due to complications following a double lung transplant in 2020.

Born in 1964 at Mather AFB in California to George and Muriel Dietel, Keith is survived by his partner, Michele Jacob, his mother, Muriel Dietel of Naples (FL), his brother, David Dietel (Kathryn) of Bolton (MA), and nieces, McKenna and Danielle. He was predeceased by his father, George Dietel.
Keith graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1987 and worked for The Vanguard Group and Delaware Investments, as well as SEI Investments Company where he spent the past 18 years of his professional career. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid reader, and having grown up around Boston, a true Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics fan. His favorite pastimes were sailing the Chesapeake bay on his boat, Spindrift, and grilling (rain, snow, or shine), but he also enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding, walks, and bike rides. Keith will be remembered for his sense of humor, wealth of knowledge, confidence, composure, and kindness. He was a true gentleman.
His family gives grateful thanks to Dr. Joshua Diamond, Jaclyn Golato, NP, and HUP's staff for their dedicated care during Keith's hard-fought battle.
