Sina Lee Mallimaci

 Sina Lee Mallimaci, 85, of Allentown, passed away at home Wednesday, August 25, after a year-long battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was the wife of the late Carl P. Mallimaci, sharing 34 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1996. Born in Allentown on May 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Ann Mazziotta. She was of the Catholic faith. Sina was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1954. Her first and most rewarding career was that of a supportive wife and loving mother, and she entered the workforce later in her life working at Sears and JR Peters. Sina loved all animals, and especially her cat, Isabella. She was passionate about feeding the birds and squirrels, and about completing numerous daily crossword puzzles. Sina will be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lisa (spouse, Deborah Koch), Rebecca (spouse, Andreas Otto) and Jessica; grandchildren, Dominique and Dylan Huber; brother and sister-in-law, Louis F. and Nancy Mazziotta. She is also survived by sisters, Jean Delong and Rita Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Antonietta Houser. In accordance with Sina's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
