Michael Heaney

 Michael Edward Heaney, 85, passed away on August 3, 2021 at his home in West Chester, PA.

Michael was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Michael and Catherine Heaney.  He grew up in Wayne, PA, and graduated from St. Katharine of Siena high school and Villanova University.  He was a member and supporter of the Daylesford Abbey community.

Michael is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elsie Heaney; his children Michael, Mary Beth (Paul) and Julie; his three grandchildren Christopher, Edith, and Andrew; sister Ann Marie Smith, and nieces and nephews.  His brother, Anthony, and his wife Sue, preceded him in death.

A funeral mass will be held at Daylesford Abbey on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to Daylesford Abbey, daylesford.org/support-daylesford-abbey.
