Dorene Greiner

 Dorene Kay Greiner, age 64, died peacefully after a brief illness on June 20, 2021. Her loving husband Charles Koons II, of Delaware, was by her side.  In addition to Dory’s husband, she is survived by her three sisters and several nieces and nephews. Dory was a Senior Social Case Manager for the Division of Services for  Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities in Georgetown, Delaware. She had an unparalleled passion for her job and clients.  Dory  will be greatly missed for her concern for others and love of animals. A celebration of  Dorene’s life will be held for family and friends in the near future. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to the Humane Society of Harrisburg on Grayson Rd. and/or CHEER, a food delivery service for the elderly in Georgetown, DE.,
