James H. Booz of Yardley passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, in his home. He was 85.
Jim was born and raised in Edgely, PA to the late Horace and Mae Booz. Jim had lived in Lower Makefield for 63 years.
Jim was the beloved husband of the late Selma C. Booz; devoted and loving father of Sharon Booz; Debbie Booz and her husband, Robert Rita; cherished Popop to Briar J. Booz and his fiance Megan Armstrong; and brother of Arlene Skarani.
He was preceded in death by his wife Selma; daughter, Sharon Booz; and grandson, Elijah.
Jim was a proud veteran as he served in the Army during the Korean War. His life career was with Bell/AT&T until he retired in 1991. His love for music brought him much joy. In his younger years, Jim was a mummer, sang in church and was a member of a barbershop quartet. What made Jim the happiest was spending time with his family.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1st, followed by a memorial service in celebration of his life at 11 a.m. at the Solebury United Methodist Church, 2536 Aquatong Rd., New Hope, PA 18938.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Solebury United Methodist Church
