Wayne R. Gould

 Wayne R. Gould, age 75, of Philadelphia,  PA, passed away on February 11, 2021 surrounded by his daughters, due to complications from covid 19.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice A.( Doyle). He is survived by  his daughters Dawn &(Martin) Gallagher  and  Christine McNally. He was the proud Pop Pop to his 4 grandchildren: Brittany Gallagher,  Ciara McNally,  Olivia Gallagher,  and Michael McNally IV.

Wayne was born to late George and Pearla(nee Vandegrift) Gould.  Wayne is survived by his sisters: Margaret, Elsie, Beatrice, and brothers Andrew and David.
Wayne was preceded in death by his siblings Pearla, Dorothy, Charles, George, Walter, James, Eugene, and Thomas.

Wayne proudly served  in the Army as an SP5(Sergeant) in the 575th Sup. Co Apo SF, California, during the Vietnam War.  While serving, he recieved the National  Defense metal, Vietnam Service  metal, Republic Vietnam Campaign  metal w/device, and Sharp shooter(rifle M-14).

Wayne worked for many years as an appliance/ auto parts delivery driver. He worked at Mattera's bakery, Ralph's Appliances, and CCC truck parts.

Wayne enjoyed his walks at the John Heinz  Refuge Center and teaching his grandchildren about the animals and playing  his lottery numbers and watching the Phillies.

Wayne was cremated through the Cremation Society of Philadelphia.  His burial will be private.  Donations can be made to the VA of Philadelphia  or to the Friends of Heinz Refuge.org( John Heinz Refuge Center).
