Regina Poindexter

 Regina Lynn Poindexter, 55, formerly of Franklin, PA, went to be with the Lord on January 5th 2021.

Born on August 5th, 1965 in Franklin, PA, she was raised by the late Jay D. and Mona Jean Scannell Poindexter Sr.

Regina enjoyed crotchet, reading, and playing Scrabble. She loved the Lord and believed everyone deserved second chances.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kasee Poindexter of Oil City, Pa, Quintin Williams of Oil City, Pa, Jayda Poindexter of Raleigh, NC, Jacara Poindexter and her wife Kathryn Wecker of Barksdale, LA, and her grandchildren, Kalayah Pyle, Braelyn Carr, Quintin Williams Jr. and Quinna Williams.

Also surviving are her brothers, Clarence Lindsey of Franklin, PA, William Lindsey of Seneca, PA, Jay Poindexter of Franklin, PA, Michael Poindexter of Franklin, PA, Michael Smith of Charlotte, NC, Fred Smith Jr. of Durham, NC, and sisters Brenda Smith Thomas of Hamilton, OH, Rochelle Smith of Charlotte, NC, and Beverly Smith May of Charlotte, NC, as well as her beloved Aunt Marie.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Lindsey and Christine Poindexter and her father, Fred Smith.
